We strongly recommend that you wet-block your sweater pieces! To accommodate the 3-D nature of the fabric you'll be knitting, we recommend against using blocking wires for your sweater.
Pin the pieces to the actual measurements given at major points, like the hips and bust/chest. Double-check your lengths and pin if necessary. If your sweater is hourglass-shaped, leave the waist and any bust dart shaping to fall where they naturally rest. You may wish to pad the bust area if you're busty, so that the fabric takes on a shape like yours.
